Declaration of Interest and Quorum

If a member declares a conflict and leaves the room, is quorum lost when that member's presence makes quorum.

Regardless of the reason, if enough members leave the room, a quorum is lost.

But there is no rule (in RONR at least) that says the member must leave the room just because of a conflict.

Quorum would be lost. Hoever, unless the organization's own rules require a member to be absent during discussion then the member would ne be required to leave the room. Check the By-laws, do they require the member to leave the room or simply to refrain from voting or entering into discussion? Or are they silent on the issue?
