What are some examples of some other rule of parliamentary procedure in the bullet on page 491, line 18, "if some other rule of parliamentary procedure is affected by the committee's assigned function."

If the committee shall appoint a presiding officer for each meeting.

If certain motions must be recommended by the committee in order to be considered.

If the committee is to act as tellers for all ballot votes.

If the committee is to approve minutes of all meetings.

Aren't the conditions given the conditions for the first two bullets?

If the committee is to have standing authority to act for the society on matters of a certain class without specific instructions from the assembly.

&

If all business of a certain class is to be automatically referred to the committee

I don't think so, but how about this one:

If the committee is to be responsible to and report to the president, instead of to the assembly.
