Trina Posted February 20, 2012 at 05:29 PM Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 at 05:29 PM Only if the committee gives that additional person permission to attend its meeting (that's assuming there's nothing in the bylaws or in the motion establishing the committee that gives other board members the right to attend). Tim Wynn Posted February 20, 2012 at 05:48 PM Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 at 05:48 PM Can an additional board member, not invited or selected, attend a meeting of a committee that was selected by the President and that already has a Board member included as an observerRONR doesn't cover "observers." An individual is a member of a committee or a nonmember of a committee. Only members have a RIGHT to attend. The committee decides if nonmembers are allowed to attend, unless a rule of the organization says otherwise.
