jstackpo Posted February 22, 2012 at 09:11 PM Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 at 09:11 PM An agenda isn't required, by RONR, so if your rules do require one, and spell out how items get on the agenda, you will have to look to your rules for an answer to your question. Tim Wynn Posted February 22, 2012 at 09:30 PM Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 at 09:30 PM Our executive committee sets the agenda for the general assembly. Can it also recommend items for the agenda just like any other committee of the assembly? In RONR's terms, an executive committee is not a committee. It is a board, and it usually reports to the executive board. Also, an assembly does not have an agenda until it adopts one, inside a meeting. As Dr. Stackpole indicated, your rules may vary, in which case, you'll have to consult them.
