See FAQs #12 and #13.
Guest Jane Posted February 28, 2012 at 02:04 PM Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 at 02:04 PM Because of time constraints only our speaker was heard at meeting. All other items on agenda were not discussed, no votes were taken. No motion was made to table either. Does this material have to be re-submitted to board as new agenda to be able to have discussion? And, would it take preference to newer items for next agenda?Thank you,
jstackpo Posted February 28, 2012 at 02:22 PM Report Share Posted February 28, 2012 at 02:22 PM "Have to be resubmitted..."?Since RONR doesn't require any agenda for meetings in the first place, any "have to..." requirements would "have to" be in your association's adopted rules. You will "have to" go and look at your rules for yourself.BTW, you don't actually "have to", but submitting a new question (even one related to a continuing one) in a new topic/thread will probably solicit more responses. And, would it take preference to newer items for next agenda?Thank you,If the session closed without completing its order of business, the questions from the previous session appear on the next session's order of business under the heading of Unfinished Business, provided that the next session is held within a quarterly time interval, and with the exception of any Special Orders that have not been reached, which would come up under the heading of Special Orders at the next session. If an Agenda is to be adopted at the next session that would interfere with this Order of Business, it would require for its adoption a two-thirds vote.
