Board electronic meetings

A Board of a college student club has bylaws that state the meetings are to be run by Roberts Rules of Order. The Bylaws are silent as to electronic meetings of the Board. The President of the Board when questioned about meeting protocal states,

"I want to take this opportunity to correct a characterization of ASP executive board meetings. The board has, as long as I have been President, never met physically. Electronic meetings are fairly common."

As a Board member I assert that meetings should be face to face (physical) in absense of the Bylaws allowing e-transmission of business. What does Roberts rules dictate about process for meetings?
