Guest public enemy Posted September 24, 2012 at 01:50 AM Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 at 01:50 AM Are trustees allowed to meet prior to the executive board meetings. Our bylaws are silent on this however, our state and national bylaws state that where a subordinate units bylaws are silent then the state and national rules shall rule
Chris Harrison Posted September 24, 2012 at 03:33 AM Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 at 03:33 AM There is nothing in RONR that would prevent the Trustees from meeting informally before the Board meeting but since the State and National Rules would govern when your bylaws are silent on the issue you will need to look to the State and National Rules.
