Guest Dave Dykwell Posted October 9, 2012 at 04:58 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 at 04:58 PM If I'm not mistaken, the President of the Board does NOT make motions him/her self. Rather, if they wish a motion to be made, they request one to be made among the board members. Is this correct? Can the President make a motion? Rev Ed Posted October 9, 2012 at 07:47 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 at 07:47 PM In a "small Board" yes he/she can. Otherwise, no only to maintain the appearance of being impartial, but technically he/she would still have the right to if he/she is a member of the group.
