Guest rita Posted October 17, 2012 at 04:18 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2012 at 04:18 PM Looking for information regarding courtesy seats and how they work. It is my understanding that meetings are only open to those who are part of the group, ie. board of directors, but the president may grant courtesy seats to guest, but they have no voting privledges and can not speak unless the chair gives permission. Where in Roberts can this be found.

Sean Hunt Posted October 17, 2012 at 04:39 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2012 at 04:39 PM It is up to the board, and only the board, who can attend its meetings.
Rev Ed Posted October 17, 2012 at 11:50 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2012 at 11:50 PM It is up to the board, and only the board, who can attend its meetings. And the Board can decide, by a majority of votes cast, whether or not guests can some, stay, speak, etc. But a non-member has no right to vote or make motions.
