Guest Edgar Posted January 29, 2013 at 04:01 PM Report Share Posted January 29, 2013 at 04:01 PM Can members attend a quarterly Board meeting and partake in discussions with the Board? If the board permits them (or if your rules require it). Members of the association who aren't members of the board have no more status at a board meeting than I do. In other words, they're guests. Josh Martin Posted January 29, 2013 at 11:55 PM Report Share Posted January 29, 2013 at 11:55 PM Can members attend a quarterly Board meeting and partake in discussions with the Board? That's at the discretion of the board. It would take a suspension of the rules (2/3 vote) to permit them to speak in debate. Majority rules in determining whether they may be present or speak when no question is pending.
