Chris Harrison Posted February 20, 2013 at 08:51 PM Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 at 08:51 PM No. First of all, moving the Previous Question requires a second so simply calling out "Question" would not suffice to get a vote taken. Second, moving the Previous Question is out of order when another member has the floor. Third, the vote would be on whether the pending question should be voted on without any further debate or lower ranking motions being permitted not on the pending motion itself. Fourth, there are some motions that are ranked higher than the Previous Question. See RONR pp. 197-209 for further details.
