Josh Martin Posted March 5, 2013 at 01:22 AM Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 at 01:22 AM Is there a chain of command within the unions Local Executive Board?Unless your rules provide otherwise, the extent of the chain of command within the board is that the board trumps any individual member of the board.Who is in charge at the Locals hall?Unless your rules provide otherwise, the general membership of the local union is ultimately in charge, although the board might be in charge between meetings of the union.Recording Secretary refuses to vacate Presidents office she occupied during his vacancy, she states it is now her space but will share it with him.If the board is authorized to act on the union's behalf between its meetings, it may adopt a motion ordering the Recording Secretary to leave the office.
