Lee Ashby Posted September 17, 2013 at 07:33 PM Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 at 07:33 PM A member wants to bring up an item under New Business of the Agenda at the next meeting, that is not on the Agenda due to the Emergency Nature of the item that they feel is needed to be brought before the Board and Fire Department. In the past we have allowed such items to be brought up without proper RO for meeting.Is there a proper procedure such as allowing the membership to vote with a 2/3 to pass to allow it? Or is there another way? RONR permits members to make motions under New Business which are not on the agenda. That's what New Business is for. There is no need for any special procedure.
