Guest Sharon Fleming Posted September 20, 2013 at 04:52 PM Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 at 04:52 PM Are Minutes presented at a meeting, or does their acceptance have to be voted on with a motion and second?
Guest Edgar Posted September 20, 2013 at 04:54 PM Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 at 04:54 PM Once any corrections to the draft minutes (submitted by the secretary) have been agreed upon, the chair simply declares the minutes "approved" (or "approved as corrected"). No motion and certainly no vote.

Rev Ed Posted September 20, 2013 at 05:25 PM Report Share Posted September 20, 2013 at 05:25 PM Any changes/corrections can be voted on. But the actual Minutes are normally approved usually unanimous consent. In other words, if there are no corrections, or no more corrections are offered, then the Minutes must be acceptable to everyone.
