Revisiting a Former Vote

After a motion is voted on and approved by a majority vote, may this same matter be considered for a second vote?  If so, is there a time frame that must elapse and does the reconsideration require a majority, 2/3, or unanimous agreement of the board to reconsider the matter for a second vote.

Yes.

There is no minimum time that must elapse, although there is a maximum time for one motion. The motion to Reconsider may be made from the time the motion is adopted until the adjournment of the meeting (or until the adjournment of the meeting on the next business day, if it's a multiple-day session). It requires a majority vote for adoption. If adopted, the original motion is before the assembly in the same condition it was before it was adopted, and is subject to further debate and amendment, and will eventually come to another vote.

The motion to Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted has no time limits (except that it cannot be applied to a motion which has already been fully carried out). It requires a 2/3 vote, a vote of a majority of the entire membership, or a majority vote with previous notice. Unlike with the motion to Reconsider, adoption of the motion to Rescind or Amend Something Previously Adopted kills or amends the original motion immediately - it does not bring the original motion back before the assembly for another vote.
