Guest Paula King Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:03 PM Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:03 PM Hello, Who would be the tie breaker when voting on the President for a board with 14 voting member's? The board doesn't have a vote, just the memebers. ThanksPaula King
George Mervosh Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:27 PM Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:27 PM There is no tie breaker. Additional rounds of voting must be conducted until someone receives a majority of the votes cast. (Our moderator will likely move this question to the General Discussion Forum when the fish quit biting in the bay)
Josh Martin Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:52 PM Report Share Posted October 1, 2013 at 05:52 PM The board doesn't have a vote, just the memebers. If the board members are also members of the society (which would usually be the case), they are free to vote as members of the society.
