Matt Schafer Posted October 11, 2013 at 08:16 AM Report Share Posted October 11, 2013 at 08:16 AM If a motion has been passed, can it be brought up again at the next meeting by someone who voted in favor of it ? For what purpose? If a member wants to change the motion, he can make a motion to Amend Something Previously Adopted. If he wants to defeat the motion after it has already been adopted, he can make a motion to Rescind. Any member can make either of these two motions. Under very limited circumstances, a member who voted in favor of an adopted motion can move to Reconsider. For most ordinary societies, it's too late to do that at the next meeting.
