Reinhart2 Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:40 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:40 PM If bylaws require slate of board candidates to be presented 30 days prior to election and this deadline is missed, can the late posted slate of candidates be voted on? Guest Edgar Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:46 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:46 PM It depends on precisely what your bylaws require. But nothing in RONR would prevent additional nominations being made "from the floor" or casting "write-in" votes for those not even nominated. jstackpo Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:46 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 12:46 PM Well.... since RONR requires that the floor be open for nominations after the Nominating Committee gives its (late) report, the people in the NomCom's list could be immediately floor nominated if there is any question about whether the late report is proper or not. So all the same names end up on the ballot anyway.
