Guest rick Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:18 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:18 PM Hi Looking for the best or most common way to resolve a tied vote if it occurs. Our Board is replacing the retiring president and we have two nominees and there is a possibility of a tie when the board votes. Any advice is greatly appreciated. jstackpo Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:29 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:29 PM All that RONR has to offer (presuming there is nothing in your bylaws on the topic) is to vote again. And again, and again... If that seem to be going on forever, see if you can nominate someone else, a "compromise candidate".
Guest Edgar Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:30 PM Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 at 08:30 PM Vote again. Maybe for a third "compromise" candidate.
