Non voting member--can a nonvoting member make a motion?

I think that is because of the absence of a definition in the bylaws.  If the bylaws said, "Non-voting members shall retain all right of membership, except the right to vote," we'd have an answer.

Well, go back and look at post #1 and tell us how you know that there is nothing about any of this in the bylaws?

What is the formality for a non voting, non board member being allowed to attend and speak at a meeting??

This forum works best if you post your new question as a new topic instead of adding to a thread that's over seven months old.

That said, non-members have no rights. They may be invited to attend and they may be permitted to speak but that's up to the members. A majority vote will do it.
