Proxies: how to handle proxies when the details change at the meeting

We have proxies for approval of a contract for an employee.  We will be having a general meeting to approve it.  In the proxies, people have been including whether to approve or not.  However if at the meeting there are changes made in the proposed contract, how should we handle the proxies.
