Josh Martin Posted April 8, 2014 at 01:03 PM Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 at 01:03 PM Once a motion has been made and seconded, who has the right to amend the motion? The motion maker may amend the motion in the brief interval before the chair states the question on the motion. The seconder may withdraw his second after such modification if he wishes. After the question has been stated by the chair, only the assembly can amend the motion, by majority vote or unanimous consent.
