Procedure for taking a revote on a previously passed motion

You don't actually "revote" (unless you have first adopted a motion to reconsider the vote, which can (usually) only happen at the same meetings as the first vote)  but any member may move to amend - or rescind - the previously adopted motion.  See p. 305ff. for special rules.

 

If the original motion was defeated, any member can move it again at the next meeting/session.   That, in effect, is a "revote", but it works only for a defeated motion, not an adopted one.
