Josh Martin Posted April 22, 2014 at 08:23 PM Report Share Posted April 22, 2014 at 08:23 PM When is it appropriate for a board member to take the floor? This is very difficult to answer as a general question. It depends heavily on the purpose for which the member is seeking recognition and what the parliamentary situation is at the time. Could you provide some more details? If this is still about your previous question, please let us know what additional information you need. Transpower Posted April 23, 2014 at 04:47 PM Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 at 04:47 PM An officer or board member does not give up his or her membership rights. Therefore he or she can seek recognition from the chair to speak, when appropriate.
