George Mervosh Posted April 30, 2014 at 02:14 PM Report Share Posted April 30, 2014 at 02:14 PM When writing the minutes for an official board meeting, is it necessary to list who moved and who seconded every motion? (For example, nominations for board positions...do I list who nominated whom?) "The name of the maker of a main motion should be entered in the minutes, but the name of the seconder should not be entered unless ordered by the assembly" RONR (11th ed.), p. 470 You do not need to note the names of those members who nominated someone to office.
