Chris Harrison Posted May 19, 2014 at 07:11 PM Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 at 07:11 PM That depends on who the bylaws say are on the Executive Committee.
Guest Janb Posted May 19, 2014 at 09:04 PM Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 at 09:04 PM Thank you - just checked our by-laws and you do not have to be a member of the Board of Gov's nor sit on your HOA board to be on the executive committee. Actually, it states that no "officer" has to be on their board or on the Board of Gov's to be elected - I assume that a member of the Executive committee is an "officer"... Guest Janb Posted May 20, 2014 at 11:45 AM Report Share Posted May 20, 2014 at 11:45 AM In reading our by-laws over and over I do believe that the Board of Gov's is not the same as "officers". The Officers are the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Those particular positions can be held by non "Board of Gov's" members. However, the Executive committee should be made up of no less than 3 members of the Board of Gov's. Does anyone else have this same working in their by-laws?
