Improperly Amending the Minutes

Our Board improperly amended our minutes by changing or adding new items that were never stated.
I pointed out that they couldn't add new items to the previous month's minutes, that corrections to the minutes should only be for items that were discussed but left off the minutes. Please advise if I'm correct how how it should be fixed at the next meeting.

Thank you Edgar for your reply. I understand about the "done" vs "discussion" and sorry I was not more clear in my question.

They added an item to be "done" that was not done at the previous meeting.

If the fictional element(s) show up in the minutes for approval next meeting, move (presuming you are a board member, if not, find a friend who is) that those sentences be struck out.

 

You can point out that, if the board wants to really do those things, any board member is free to make the appropriate motions at the current meeting.
