Guest shannon guest Posted June 13, 2014 at 10:11 PM Report Share Posted June 13, 2014 at 10:11 PM Can an Executive director take of the creation and management of the not for profits budget? Would this have to be voted on?
Edgar Guest Posted June 13, 2014 at 10:18 PM Report Share Posted June 13, 2014 at 10:18 PM Your executive director has only the authority that your bylaws (or superseding rules or laws) give her. In RONR-Land, an association starts out with no executive director at all. And if there is an executive director, she starts out with no authority at all. So if you think your executive director is doing something you don't think she has the authority to do, ask her to show you the rule that says she can do what she's doing. Guest Guest Posted June 13, 2014 at 11:13 PM Report Share Posted June 13, 2014 at 11:13 PM Thank you. Should this be addressed at the next board meeting, or directly with the executive director?
