removing a board officer

The officer was elected by the general membership.  The board does have the authority to remove and member for reason of incompetence, moral or physical disqualification or embezzlement.  The officer can appeal to the general membership.  In this instance the officer was not allowed to attend the meeting when to vote was taken.  The main question is should that officer have been allowed to vote  most obviously for him/herself?

"Not allowed", eh?  That's trouble.  Since he was a member, he had a right to be there and to vote as he saw fit.   This blatant violation of a member's rights has generated a continuing breach (p. 251 ( e ) ) about which a valid point of order can be raised to the effect that the vote removing him is null and void.

Try again, but this time do it right.
