Guest tina revelle Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:19 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:19 PM can a president of a small home association go on a web-site and bash a member that will be running for a seat on the board of directors telling she lied and to not vote for this person aren't there ethics that the president should refrain from this kind of conduct? jstackpo Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:22 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:22 PM Such ethical considerations are not a part of RONR's world. RONR deals with in-meeting behavior and matters closely related to that, not (political) accusations.

jstackpo Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:55 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 at 05:55 PM Your membership (of the HoA) will be the ultimate judges of what is right or wrong in this situation. They will reveal their judgment in the voting booth, I presume. If your president's behavior is, in your judgment, "injurious" to your association, take a look at RONR, Chapter 20. Warning: it is pretty heavy going.
