jstackpo Posted July 27, 2014 at 05:14 PM Report Share Posted July 27, 2014 at 05:14 PM The term "freeze memberships" isn't familiar to me, nor is it in RONR. It sort of sounds like it would be in your bylaws, perhaps. Could you tell us what it means to you?
Guest Edgar Posted July 27, 2014 at 05:38 PM Report Share Posted July 27, 2014 at 05:38 PM Who, if anyone is authorized to freeze memberships in a non profit organization? It's entirely up to the organization to decide whether to admit new members or not. And which new members to admit. That's the RONR default. If your organization is subject to additional rules or laws you'll need to ask an attorney about them.
