Chris Harrison Posted July 31, 2014 at 03:54 PM Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 at 03:54 PM You would make any corrections the assembly orders when the minutes are up for approval. Besides that you are under no obligation to make any changes just because someone asks/tells you to do so. See RONR pp. 354-355.

Timothy Posted August 1, 2014 at 12:40 PM Report Share Posted August 1, 2014 at 12:40 PM The assembly corrects and approves the minutes; the secretary does not. I can agree with the first part of that, but not the second.
Gary Novosielski Posted August 4, 2014 at 05:28 AM Report Share Posted August 4, 2014 at 05:28 AM If the Secretary was told to rewrite minutes, because a pargraph was not accepted, how do I go about this and what is it titled? The secretary makes the corrections word for word, exactly as directed by the membership during the process of approval of minutes. The membership does not simply say "rewrite this part". It provides the exact language that would make that paragraph correct. If that wasn't done, there's no way for the secretary to guess what the correction should be.
