Guest LesSam Posted July 31, 2014 at 10:50 PM Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 at 10:50 PM Organization has alternating elections - president in year 1 for 2 years, vice president in year 2 for 2 years. When President's term is up, must VP resign in order to be: (1) nominated for President, (2) elected for President?
Chris Harrison Posted July 31, 2014 at 11:09 PM Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 at 11:09 PM 1) RONR doesn't require it.2) RONR doesn't require it. However, if the VP is elected President he probably should resign because one of the major jobs of being VP is to preside over meetings in the President's absence or becoming President in case the office becomes vacant. Having the same person in both offices kinda defeats the purpose of having a VP.
