Guest Ron Posted August 5, 2014 at 12:38 PM Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 at 12:38 PM We have a constitution, bylays, and have adpoted Robert's Rules, but we also have written policies.that are established and approved by the board. Nothing is mentioned anywhere how policies are to be amended, rescinded, or revoked. My questions are where in the heirarchy do the policies fall? Should we treat them as approved motions when considering any amendments or changes to them? Two - thirds to change with out notice and majority with notice? Transpower Posted August 5, 2014 at 01:29 PM Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 at 01:29 PM Policies are standing rules. They rank lower than the constitution, bylaws, and RONR. They are adopted by majority vote. They can be amended by 2/3 vote or majority vote with notice.
