Guest Donne Griffiths Posted August 11, 2014 at 01:35 PM Report Share Posted August 11, 2014 at 01:35 PM Several years ago our POA voted to limit the BOD to no more than $5000 per year without having to have POA approval. Since this vote a part Board and now the present board have ignored this vote by the POA. The first entering a contract to the value of $8800 and the most recent a contact with a value of $28,800. The board maintains the vote does not control boards expenditures. Question:can the POA members set limits that a board can arbitrarily spend without the members consent. Our annual working funds are $75,000 from dues.Really appreciate your help.
