Guest c carswell Posted September 2, 2014 at 06:27 PM Report Share Posted September 2, 2014 at 06:27 PM A question has come up on our board of directors (a non-profit, volunteer service group) regarding voting by an individual board member who may hold more than one position that automatically places that individual on the board as a voting member. If you hold more than one voting position, i.e. as an elected officer or standing committee chairman, do you have two votes to cast on an issue (one for each position you hold) or do you have one vote - as an individual on the board who may hold more than one position?
