Guest babs Posted September 4, 2014 at 04:26 PM Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 at 04:26 PM The bylaws have no provision for emergency meetings and require specific notice of all meetings. Bylaws also state that Roberts Rules Newly Revised governs all business that does not conflict with the bylaws. So, does Roberts Rules allow for an emergency meeting to be called with minimal notice? Edgar Guest Posted September 4, 2014 at 06:58 PM Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 at 06:58 PM But if it's a real emergency (e.g. the clubhouse is on fire) buy a case of bottled water and hope that, at the next regular meeting, the club will decide to reimburse you.
