Resignation question

If a person resigns from their position, can they rerun for that same position? Along with that, if a person is voted into a 2 year term position, they resign after 1 year, can they run for a different position?

Yes to both questions. Though whether they'll be elected to a position they resigned from (or any other position) is up to the voters. I suppose it will depend on the reasons for the resignation.

 

Edited to add: Note that there are usually no rules about "running for" an office. The relevant rules typically refer to eligibility for serving in an office.
