Weldon Merritt Posted September 10, 2014 at 09:11 PM Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 at 09:11 PM Our club has five Executive Board Members and two Directors at Large Positions. Since the Directors at Large positions are appointed by the president, they are not voting members of the board, correct? Incorrect. If they are members of the board, they have the same rights as any other member, unless your bylaws say otherwise. How they got to be members is immaterial. (This assumes, of course, that the president had the authoirty to appoint them in the first place. If not, then they are not board members at all.)
