Guest gardengirl Posted September 13, 2014 at 07:19 PM Report Share Posted September 13, 2014 at 07:19 PM If a Board member states he has a written statement he will read aloud in the Board meeting and that he would like to have this statement included in the minutes -verbatim - and none of the other Board members objects, can his statement be included in the minutes? Richard Brown Posted September 13, 2014 at 07:21 PM Report Share Posted September 13, 2014 at 07:21 PM Yes. But, it would be better if it was clearly done with unanimous consent, which is normally done by the chair stating, "is there any objection to the statement being included in the minutes? Hearing none, it is so ordered. The Secretary will include the statement in the minutes." Then there is no question about what was done.
