taffy571 Posted September 25, 2014 at 06:06 AM Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 at 06:06 AM We had a board meeting, the discussion was to allow someone to move a trailer onto a new site, the board voted no. Now one of the board members has asked that we reconsider, can we reconsider if it was already voted on and voted no?
jstackpo Posted September 25, 2014 at 06:58 AM Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 at 06:58 AM Technically "reconsider" is not proper - a motion to reconsider has special rules - see p. 315. However, since the motion was defeated, it is perfectly proper to "renew" the motion at a later session - p. 336. The board member can just make the same motion again, and the rest of you can just vote "no" again.
