Kim Goldsworthy Posted October 10, 2014 at 06:53 PM Report Share Posted October 10, 2014 at 06:53 PM If there are no past meeting minutes presented, can the meeting proceed or is it postponed?Curious.Did someone bring up the question of whether a meeting can even be held, just because the secretary failed to have the minutes of a prior meeting ready for amendment/adoption? No single person holds a meeting hostage. If the meeting is duly called, and if you have a quorum, then you can have your meeting and you can transact business in the name of the organization.A missing secretary, or missing minutes, or even a missing president, won't halt a proper meeting.
