Edgar Guest Posted October 15, 2014 at 09:49 PM Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 at 09:49 PM Nothing in RONR prohibits it. Check your bylaws.
Gary Novosielski Posted October 16, 2014 at 04:30 PM Report Share Posted October 16, 2014 at 04:30 PM Can one member hold more than one position on the Executive Board? Are these identical positions, like Trustee, or Director? If so, then no. But one person could hold the post of Secretary/Treasurer, for example. Gary Novosielski Posted October 16, 2014 at 06:23 PM Report Share Posted October 16, 2014 at 06:23 PM No rule in RONR would prohibit it, but I can think of some worst-case scenarios that might cause me to vote No if I were a member.
Edgar Guest Posted October 16, 2014 at 06:30 PM Report Share Posted October 16, 2014 at 06:30 PM could they hold vice president and treasurer ? Don't forget that the primary responsibility of the vice-president is to serve preside in the president's absence. And if that "absence" is permanent you might end up with the same person being both president and treasurer. Not, as the saying goes, that there's anything wrong with that.
