Calling a membership in less than ten days as stated in by laws

Can the board call a meeting requested by membership in less than the ten days as stated in our by laws. This is a very time sensitive issue and needs to be called ASAP.

Any business done at a meeting for which the required notice isn't given is null and void.*

 

If this a real emergency, members could act on their own and hope that the assembly will ratify their actions at the next (legitimate) meeting.

 

*However if all members are in attendance then the failure to provide proper notice might not be an issue. I always forget how that question gets resolved here.

Thanks. I'm in the "null and void" camp even if all the members are present. Rules are rules.
