Josh Martin Posted January 15, 2015 at 03:31 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2015 at 03:31 AM Should guest/observers be listed as attending a meeting for a small organization? So far as RONR is concerned, attendance is not recorded at all, except for the fact that the regular presiding officer and secretary are present (or the names of the persons who substituted for them, if they are absent) (RONR, 11th ed., pg. 468). If your organization wishes to record attendance, it will be up to your organization to work out the details.
Andy Travis Posted January 15, 2015 at 03:56 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2015 at 03:56 AM If Guest_Norine is referring to a guest speaker, then you may want to see:RONR In Brief p.147 says "The name and subject of guest speaker or other program may be given, but no summary of the talk."P.362 in RONR defines what a Program is.If Guest_Norine is strictly referring to someone from the general assembly merely observing a meeting then see Mr. Martin's previous answer.
