Approval of AGM minutes

Are AGM minutes approved at the boards next regular meeting without any input for corrections from the general assembly? I'm asking this just to be absolutely certain because yet again the people who are suppose to read RONR in my assembly but haven't said the AGM minutes stay in draft until the next AGM.

On p.473 of RONR where it says "...and when there will be no change or replacement of a person of the membership before the next session, procedures relative to the reading and approval of minutes are as follows:"

Does this change or replacement include or exclude new board members that were just elected at the AGM?

See p. 474, l. 31 to p. 475, l. 7. Has your board been authorized to approve the AGM minutes? If your board has not been given such authorization by your rules or by a motion at the general membership meeting, then the general membership would have to approve those minutes at the next general membership meeting.

And if the next meeting of the general membership is more than about three months away (e.g. if the annual meeting is the only regular meeting) the board, or a committee, should be authorized to approve the minutes. A year is too long to wait.

The "change or replacement" rule has no application to meetings of the general membership of an ordinary society. The key for those meetings is when the next meeting is held. If it is within a quarterly interval, then the membership approves its own minutes at the next meetings. If the membership meets monthly, it should not wait until the next annual meeting to approve the minutes of the annual meeting.

On the other hand, if the membership only meets annually (for instance), then the membership should authorize the board or a committee to approve the minutes. If the membership fails to do so, however, then the membership will approve its own minutes.

The "change or replacement" rule does apply to meetings of the board. At the board's last meeting prior to the beginning of the term of newly elected board members, the board should appoint a committee to approve its minutes. Again, however, if the board fails to do so, the board will approve its own minutes.
