Guest Linda J Posted January 16, 2015 at 02:01 PM Report Share Posted January 16, 2015 at 02:01 PM Our Bylaws state~ If a vacancy occurs on the Board of Trustees, other than in the office of President, due to resignation or by declaration of the Board, the Board of Trustees shall fill any such vacancy with an eligible member until the next Congregational meeting, upon the nomination of the individual by the President and a majority vote of the Board. If the President nominates an individual to fill such a vacancy and the board votes in the affirmative at the Board meeting, must that individual wait until the next Board meeting to attend or can they be called immediately after the vote to take their seat at present Board meeting?
