how to proceed when no person will accept nomination for president

Nominations don't have to be accepted. Hold the election as required (with or without any nominations). Someone might get elected (one vote could be all it takes).

If no one in your organization is willing to serve as president it may be time to close up shop. Less drastically, figure out why no one wants the job. Why, for instance, don't you want to be president?

What happens when no person will accept the nomination to be president of an organization?

As noted, the election must still be held. Keep trying until the assembly elects someone who does not decline to serve. If the organization ultimately postpones the election before it can be completed, the current President will continue to serve until the election is completed if your bylaws provide that officers shall serve "until their successors are elected." If not, the Vice President will serve as chair until the election can be completed.

Check your bylaws to see if officers continue to serve until their successors are elected.  If that's the way they read, then your president continues to serve until his successor is elected.... or he resigns or dies or is removed.

If your organization is incorporated, you might check your state's corporation laws.  Those  laws sometimes contain a provision dealing with whether an officer continues to serve until his successor is elected.
