George Mervosh Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:28 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:28 PM Is it appropriate to indicate "Petition Candidate" on the ballot? Are you trying to differentiate on the ballot how a person was nominated, or what? This term isn't used in RONR.
Edgar Guest Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:30 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:30 PM Is it appropriate to indicate "Petition Candidate" on the ballot? While some ballots might indicate which candidates were, for example, selected by the nominating committee or which candidates are, for example, incumbents, I think it's best for the ballot to be as neutral as possible. I would find it even more improper (though violating no rule I can find) if the petition candidate was singled out and no other notations were made beside other candidates names.
