Richard Brown Posted May 17, 2015 at 01:15 AM Report Share Posted May 17, 2015 at 01:15 AM The answer to your question likely lies within your city council's own rules and open meetings laws regarding public notice, etc. According to RONR, it is perfectly permissible to adjourn until the next day to complete the business that was not reached on the scheduled meeting day.
